I listen to the bird It's telling me hello I wonder if they feel I wonder what they know And if they say its alright I'd give them what they need flying into the night leaving everything Lets give it up today We don't need it now The clouds are building fast more than they'll allow And it will start to rain falling down on us and we will feel the pain cutting us apart And in our hearts the nightingale flies away and in our minds the Raven rests with beady eyes Don't lose your plume, white feathers bleed to black And in its place, the Raven awakes

Child of the Sea come out with me Tell me what you see Hurry up along, they’re too far gone And leave everything We’ll take it to the road and it won’t be long When you can start to breathe Taking in the sun on this great new world Feeling like a King Everything I see so new to me I better watch my back Everybody stares, but I don’t care I’m never going back Suddenly you’re feeling like you’re on the line And you forget to breathe Wishing you were home with the ones you call The Children of the Sea

Dark man brooding by the bay Dark man brooding by the bay White teeth glisten in the night Pockets full of gems Water comes right up to shore Tempting him to look for more Every wave they hope to greet Then turning back to sea In the water shiny things Dark man reaches in the sea Pulling out a hand of sand Reflection let him down Anger filled by what he sees Water holding precious things No one gets the best of him Try to deceive Diving in the tempting sea Died by giving into greed White teeth glisten in the bay Pockets full of gems

Emerald Eyes 03:07
Emerald eyes, sins divine Luscious hips wave to and fro Lady luck resides here In your heart And in your heart she sits and waits For the right time with stiletto heels To sit on your shoulder, as she walks right up your heart Warm breath slithers in your ear “I’m here loves, I’m here” Now raise the stakes and shake those pair of dice Eye & eye become the die Of a slithering kind, oh my oh my “Snake eyes!” she’ll gasp oh so sweet Now roll again, “I’m here, I’m here” See me laugh, I’ll watch you cry Such a silly, pretty fool, you are Now when you see those emerald eyes Hips so fine and sins divine Best to throw those pair of dice away

Energy and interlude calm my sorrowed head Taking me so far from here A place I used to rest The sun will peer, enlighten me Your face it surely shines Stirring up so many thoughts I used to have inside "I'd give it all", I used to say and then the doubts set in Give it all, to float above To be and live again I hope so I hope I do
7.
Pencil scrawling Hurry up lead Running faster, faster Beating on the drum Body of the sound Notes popping out To me, only to me, going too fast and yet too slow Paint splattered image Whites, pinks, reds Stabbed by the Devil Lying in bed Images are moving endless dreams To me, only to me, going too fast and yet too slow

Losing It 02:26
I never can find what I need to find (yeah) And in the cupboards I had cookware And after work I found them gone What will I cook with Everything was right and now it’s wrong… I never can find what I need to find (yeah) And in the freezer was a soup bone Beans and rice would blend real well But someone took it Sometimes things in life just go to hell I never can find what I need to find (yeah) And in the pantry was my wishbone Saved it up for many years already pulled apart by my lovers new and old

We take a walk in the blackness The dark alone is bleak Diamonds across the canvas Oh how the stars illuminate I can see the beauty How they light your face Galaxies are smudged fingerprints Placed softly in space Don't be afraid of the darkness But remember if you are That stars shine bright against the canvas just to show us where we are Breath sweetly curls inside my ear "I'd take you over the stars"
10.
I've got all I've ever wanted I've got brand new shoes I got a chicken in the oven but I don't have you I got them blues, the one thirty blues I read the paper and the preacher and the good news news I ran far away but you're coming through I got them blues the one thirty blues I've got a lot of things, but I don't have you
11.
It sits right there No one ever notices Beaten up, revolting and no one wants to see Singing to itself no one wants to hear it Writing down the words that no one wants to read Sometimes the things we think, are so forgotten can bring us back to life when memories are stirred Curling in my hand your fingers as we're walking a stone that you found and given to me A rock to some Not polished to perfection Not precious to everyone but polished and impure
12.
We Listen 02:59
We speak of dreams of lives Things bursting at the seems and sharp things like knives We hear the call at night and start to think of things we could have done right We listen, we know Just how far life makes us go Funny to think Someone bursting with sound Reduced to slink Without inspiration found You told me how to reach in the sky And let me know That I'm never alone We listen, we know Just how far life makes us go
13.
Turning 03:27
Looking out of the window Looking out of my eyes I see the leaves are turning all the time, all the time Taking part of your wisdom use it with part of mine I find the balance in them suit me fine, suit me fine Floating high above them clouds of snow and rain looking down upon them all the same, all the same

Welcomed Sky 03:31
Under a welcomed sky, I’m feeling everything Few may dwell with me, why can’t I let you in Cheapened it long ago, we put our mask away Something’s we think are gone just won’t stay, away Beneath the rocks I loom, tides may come and go Evil will never win, suffering helps me grow Take me out to the yard, when I’m gone you will see Why don’t you have a seat, and stay awhile, with me Loving is hard to do, when it just goes away Staple it to my shoe, and glue it to my head I’m feeling everything, under a welcomed sky Why can’t I let you in, for awhile, one more time
